Job Summary:
Bayou Movers is seeking reliable and skilled drivers to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating moving trucks, assisting with loading/unloading, and ensuring excellent customer service during every move.
Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to transport customer belongings safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading items, ensuring zero damage.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with customers to confirm schedules and address concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide guidance to moving helpers during jobs.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
